Family Group Decision Making
A strengths based solution focused approach to working with families
Purpose
Family Group Decision Making (FGDM) provides a structured, supportive process that brings families together with relatives, friends, and other identified supports to create a culturally responsive plan.
This process ensures that youth and families are supported in a way that honors their strengths, values, and unique circumstances.
Families referred to FGDM are given the opportunity to develop their own solutions to critical concerns related to the care and well-being of their children.

Youth Stabilization Specialists
Providing Individualized Support for Youth and Families in Various Settings
* Staff provide daily one on one supportive services to help stabilize the youth's placement.
* Providing services to youth involved with Children and Youth or JPO
* Staff use de-escalation skills, supportive supervision and are a liaison between agencies
* Client typically sees staff as a relief from everyday schedule
*Participate in all extracurricular activities with youth
